Playing outside is so important for your little ones. There’s so many benefits to spending time outside; it is high on our priority list here at Puddleduck Daycare. Not only does it give great exercise and help develop gross motor skills, but it also helps them gain activity independence and social skills. It also encourages your little one to be curious about their environment; bugs and animals, plants, weather, the seasons, and overall it brings them to care more about nature and the earth. Yes, it’s playing outside, but it’s SO much more than that.

We have a large flat patio where children can draw with chalk, ride in foot cars, trikes, scooters, or toddler scoot bikes.

The lawn is large enough to kick around a ball or play tag, have picnics, run in the sprinkler in the summer, or make snowmen in the winter.

The wood chip area has play equipment such as slides, a playhouse, climbing dome, a sensory/water table, an outside play kitchen, and child sized chairs and picnic tables.
